I have known for decades that there were some "Girl Groups" songs that I enjoyed, and I've always thought, "I should hunt those down, and see if there are more that I like." Then, recently, I was sitting in a restaurant and started singing "You Can't Hurry Love," and a minute later it started playing on the radio, and I thought, "I really like that song, I should own it." So I bought a copy of The No. 1's, which collects a lot of The Supremes hits (I actually had to look up who performed "You Can't Hurry Love," even though it's one of my favorite songs.) It turns out, now that I have the album, that I probably don't like "Girl Groups" at all - I just like The Supremes. About 3/4 of the songs that I can think of that I really like from that genre are on this album. This makes me really ashamed of the fact that, until a month ago, I knew there was a group called "The Supremes," but I thought they were an all-male band.

That was a really horrible ramble, and I'm looking back over it and I just can't see how to make it any better. Oh well.

Also, can someone please tell me who is responsible for the decision that the piano is no longer an instrument of rock? It sucks, and I'd really like them to reconsider. I know it's bulky and all, but there's just no substitute.

Oh, awesome. If you touch other people's source code, this is an essential site. At least, it is if the code you're looking at is marginally better than what goes up there. If you regularly confront code that's worse than what they've got, then... good luck?
