The notepad reads, "did not respond to advances. may consider different tack. must learn more about #17. 070500 Montg. followed #17 to apartment bldg where #3 and #16 live. #17 was inside for several minutes then left. most likely distressed due to damage to #3 - did not see #3's car or M. trailing #17 to learn more. must be quick to catch #8 after. Montg."
