Pets of Chris
Animals are nothing but the portrayal of our virtues and
vices made manifest to our eyes, the visible reflections of
our souls.
-- Victor Hugo

Roxie is a small, nigh-ancient, adorable dog.
She's been hanging around Chris for almost 15 years, now. She's slowed
down, some, but mostly she just sleeps more. And she doesn't float in
the air as much, now.
But what Breed is Roxie?
Well, that's a good question. We had a vet, once, who told us she was
part sheltie and part lhasa apso. She doesn't look that much like a
sheltie or a lhasa, but when she wasn't going so gray, she definitely had
sheltie coloration. So.

Roxie also likes sitting with the computer
equipment. But her eyes don't normally incandesce like that.

Chance is short, and fat. She's definitely part chihuahua, part
yorkshire terrier. She's
scary, and she pisses a lot. She's about five
years old. Mostly, she just sits on the waterbed all day long.

Suki isn't Chris's pet at all. But Chance isn't
much of a pet. And she can't fly. So you get to see Suki, too. It is
important to note that Suki is much larger, now.

Aaron isn't,
strictly speaking, Chris's pet, either. But he is Chris's
sidekick. Chris shares him with Kitten. He
doesn't always have dodgeballs stuffed in his shirt.

The white gargoyle is a recent addition to the
household. It was, actually, a Christmas present. It's cool, and heavy,
and it stared at Chris's aunt for most of one evening. He hoped it might
eat her, but it just stared. Gargoyle pictures make messing with
tone maps fun!
That picture of chance is scaring me. Can we go back to
Chris now?
