   I was hanging out with a couple of friends of mine (they're geeks, so
the fact that I have friends doesn't nullify the hypothesis) over hard
cider at a bar just off-campus.  Anyway, one of them had, as incredible
as it sounds, kissed a girl that weekend.  And repeatedly, on the lips,
not just once.
   The rest of us were, of course, incredibly envious and curious, and
pestered him with the kind of questions that normal people asked their
first friend to lose their virginity, at probably little more than half
our age.
   But that's not the point.  The point was that one question we asked
him was "How long did it last?"
   He admitted, "I'm not sure.  I was kinda in shock.  Could have been
five minutes, could have been thirty."
   "Ah," I said.  "5d6 minutes?"
