I am told by Cheryl that in Discover Magazine this month there is an
article about a new species called an Ice Borer. Apparently said creature
is about 6 inches long, and has a bony plate in its head covered with
blood vessels to melt ice. It lives in the ice. It LIVES in the ICE.

Apparently they are group hunters, converging on a single penguin and
melting the ice out from under it before it can get away, then chewing it
up like piranhas.

Please, oh please let this not be an April Fool's joke. talk.bizarre NEEDS
a new mascot.
